This is the first book in the Twisted series.

Below is my spoiler filled booktalk but don't worry this one is spoiler free for those of you who have not picked up the book yet!

Jessi Elliot blew me out of the water with this first book in the Twisted Series! I love everything from the romance to the fae in this novel! Also, let me tell you Tristan has crept his way into my heart and has become the new LOVE OF MY LIFE!

Our main character Aurora is a strong-willed woman who is finishing up her senior year at university with a major in Business. Seems like smooth sailing for her as she is ready to navigate through the last two semester, but she was dead wrong! Aurora’s senior year is interrupted when the fae leader, Tristan captures her. A man who is charming, gorgeous and drives Aurora up the wall! Now she is stuck in the middle of a world she is unfamiliar, avoid Tristan (which proves to be difficult) and graduate college!

Now let me just say….Jessi did not disappoint in the romance department!

Like I have mentioned in other reviews I am not one to dive head first into the romance genre because I have never found anything that doesn’t make me cringe! However, Jessi does a great job at writing the “romance” scenes in a way that sucks me in and doesn’t make me uncomfortable, which to me is a big thing when it comes to reading this genre!

If you are looking for a fantastical swoon-worthy read that you won’t want to put down than drop what you are doing and go buy TWISTED FATE! I promise you will not be disappointed!
